Course Objectives:

The program is designed to bridge the gap between a student who have some I.T. knowledge / experience but are not sufficient to take on the advanced topics in Higher Diploma.

This 4 months program helps students to accelerate their programming knowledge, language and systems skills and networking principles so that they are well equipped with the pre-requisite to enrol in the challenging IMIS Higher Diploma which focus on Information Systems and related technologies.

Admission Requirement:

  1.  A tertiary qualification in ANY areas plus prior some training in programming or I.T., or
  2. Matriculated or A level including English and Mathematics passed w/ some technical IT background, or
  3. Age 21 with two years computing relevant experience and HKCEE five passes including Maths and English (syllabus B), or
  4. Completion of IDPM Foundation Certificate or an equivalent pre-course. Basic programming (eg. BASIC, Pascal, Dbase, Access... Programming) and PC knowledge is required. Access to PC/computer facilities for project/assignment is required, or
  5. Other combination of education at HKCEE+ level plus technical computing knowledge / experience
