Course Objectives
This course is designed to fill the gaps for IT professionals who do not possess in-depth skills on software systems analysis, design and development using object-oriented approach. The skill is essential as a pre-requisite to bridge qualified IT professionals to admit to our Bachelor of Science (Honours) Computing programme offered by University of Greenwich, a degree program in collaboration with ABRS in Hong Kong. IT professionals will learn how to develop software applications in a systematic manner. All aspects of IS application development are addressed in detail to enhance the skills of programmers or systems analysts who are preparing themselves to take on large-scale projects using engineering approaches. Advanced IS Engineering methods, strategies, issues, problems solving, etc. will be taught and demonstrated during the lectures.

Admission Requirement
- Holders of Higher Diploma in IT related disciplines such as Telecommunication, Networking, Electronic, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or equivalent; OR
- Holders of Associate Degree in Computing, IT related disciplines such as Telecommunication, Networking, Electronic, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or equivalent; OR
- Holders of Higher Certificate in Computing, IT related disciplines such as Telecommunication, Networking, Electronic, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or equivalent; OR
- Holders of a Bachelor or Higher Degree in other disciplines with substantial IT working experience; OR
- IT professionals with more than 5 years of IT working experience and multi-IT Vendors certificates; OR
- Others may apply without the eligibility to enroll in BSc programme offered by the University of Greenwich directly – individual assessment is required.
Duration
This program is a GUIDED LEARNING PROGRAM, which requires of 240 hours self-learning, plus tutorial workshops delivered by ABRS.
